A Bold Step Forward for Youth Empowerment
At 21UP Movement, we’re committed to fostering youth empowerment by bridging the gap between ambition and achievement. Recently, we took a major step toward this mission by introducing Attentive Management, a group of dedicated young entrepreneurs, to their first-ever business networking event with the Essex Business Partnerships (EBP).
With participants aged 16 to 18, these young leaders stepped out of their comfort zones, trading their tracksuits for suits and ties—a transformation that embodies our motto: “turning tracksuits into suits.” This event was a significant milestone for these future leaders, providing a platform to showcase their potential and ideas.
The day started early for Attentive Management, as they met at the station by 7 a.m. after preparing as early as 4 a.m. Despite their youth and inexperience in such professional settings, they confidently mingled with CEOs and directors, pitching their innovative business ideas. Their poise and professionalism captured the attention of seasoned professionals, positioning them as voices of the next generation.
Our founder, Perry Blake, has been a strong advocate for youth empowerment through initiatives like this. His ongoing partnership with EBP has opened doors for young people to not only observe but actively participate in high-level networking events. These opportunities have proven invaluable, allowing young entrepreneurs to connect with mentors, build meaningful relationships, and gain first-hand insight into the business world.
The determination and drive displayed by Attentive Management at the EBP event were nothing short of inspiring. From the early morning start to confidently navigating the room, these young entrepreneurs left an undeniable mark. They exemplify the resilience and grit that are critical for success, and we’re excited to see how this experience serves as a springboard for their futures.
Take the next step in fostering youth empowerment - partner with 21UP Movement to create more opportunities for young leaders. Whether you’re a mentor, organisation, or supporter, your involvement can make a lasting impact. Together, we can bridge the gap between ambition and achievement.
